Mrs. Warren was an elected official on the Board of Directors of the East Bay Municipal Utilities District from 1982 to 1990. Mrs. Warren made history when she became the first female Chair of the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Warren's experience includes Vice President of the Coalition of Labor and Business for multiple counties, Vice President of the Alameda County Medical Center Foundation, and a board member of the 100 Club of Alameda County. Mary Warren is a Government Relations Consultant for Warren and Associates.

Mrs. Warren earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Immaculate Heart College, and then served in the U.S. Navy.

Mrs. Warren has served both the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Authority and its predecessor Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, Inc. for over 16 years
